Man pulls down woman’s pants in Bronx sex attack
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A stranger pulled down a woman's pants and sexually assaulted her in an attempted rape in the Bronx, police said Thursday as they released images of a suspect.
The 20-year-old victim was attacked in the Mott Haven section at 8 a.m. on May 30.
Police said her attacker, who is unknown to her, struck up a conversation near Cypress Avenue and East 136th Street.
As the two talked, the man pulled down her pants and told her he had a gun. He then digitally penetrated her, police said.

She was able to escape the attempted rape, and the man fled.
EMS responded and evaluated the victim at the scene, police said.
Video shows the suspect in a building lobby around the time of the attack.
